Anloga District Assembly holds General Assembly Meeting

The Anloga District Assembly on Friday, July 25, 2025, held its General Assembly Meeting to deliberate on key development issues and take important decisions aimed at advancing the socio-economic development of the district.

The meeting brought together the District Chief Executive, the Presiding Member, Assembly Members, Heads of Departments, representatives of decentralized agencies, traditional authorities and other stakeholders to review the Assembly’s activities and discuss matters affecting the district.

During the session, members considered reports from the Executive Committee and the various sub-committees, including Finance and Administration, Development Planning, Social Services, Justice and Security, and Works. Discussions centered on the implementation of ongoing development projects, revenue mobilization, sanitation, education, healthcare, infrastructure and measures to improve service delivery across the district.

Assembly Members also examined the Assembly’s financial performance and assessed the progress of projects being undertaken in various communities. They made recommendations to address challenges affecting project implementation and called for stronger collaboration among departments to ensure the timely execution of development initiatives.

The Presiding Member commended Assembly Members and departmental heads for their commitment to the district’s development and urged them to continue working together in the interest of the people. Members reaffirmed their dedication to promoting transparency, accountability and good governance in all aspects of the Assembly’s work.

The meeting ended with a renewed commitment by the Assembly to implement resolutions reached during the deliberations and to continue pursuing policies and programmes that will improve the living conditions of residents and accelerate the development of the Anloga District.
