Anloga District Assembly holds General Assembly Meeting

The Anloga District Assembly on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, held its General Assembly Meeting to deliberate on key development issues and adopt resolutions aimed at promoting the socio-economic growth of the district.

The meeting brought together the District Chief Executive, the Presiding Member, Assembly Members, Heads of Departments, representatives of decentralized agencies, traditional authorities and other stakeholders to review the Assembly’s performance and discuss matters of public interest.

Members considered reports from the Executive Committee and the various sub-committees, focusing on revenue mobilization, infrastructure development, sanitation, education, healthcare, agriculture and other priority sectors. The Assembly also reviewed the progress of ongoing projects and explored practical measures to address challenges affecting their implementation.

During the deliberations, Assembly Members stressed the need for improved collaboration among departments, prudent financial management and increased community participation in development initiatives. They also reaffirmed their commitment to transparency, accountability and responsive local governance.

The meeting concluded with the adoption of key resolutions to guide the Assembly’s activities and accelerate the implementation of development programmes. Members pledged to work together to improve service delivery and enhance the living standards of the people of the Anloga District.
