Anloga District Assembly introduces new revenue system to enhance revenue mobilization

The Anloga District Assembly has taken a significant step towards improving its revenue mobilization efforts with the development of a new revenue management system by Kabtech Consulting.

As part of the implementation process, key staff of the Assembly underwent a training session on Thursday, May 22, 2025, to equip them with the knowledge and skills required to effectively operate the new system.

The training focused on the features and functionality of the revenue platform, including revenue tracking, data management, reporting, monitoring of collections and improving accountability in revenue administration. Participants were guided through practical sessions on how to use the system to enhance efficiency and reduce challenges associated with manual revenue collection processes.

Facilitators from Kabtech Consulting emphasized the importance of accurate data management, transparency and timely reporting in strengthening the Assembly’s internally generated funds (IGF). They noted that the new system would provide a more reliable mechanism for monitoring revenue activities and supporting informed decision-making.

The initiative forms part of the Assembly’s commitment to adopting digital solutions to improve financial management and service delivery. Management of the Anloga District Assembly expressed optimism that the new revenue system would help boost revenue performance and ensure better resource mobilization for development projects.

The trained staff also pledged to apply the knowledge acquired to ensure the smooth operation of the system and contribute to the Assembly’s efforts towards achieving sustainable development in the district.
