Public Servants and Security Services Join National Sanitation Day Exercise in Anloga Township

Public and civil servants, together with personnel from the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana National Fire Service, joined residents of Anloga Township to observe this year’s National Sanitation Day through a massive clean-up exercise.

The exercise brought together workers from various government institutions and the security services, who worked side by side to sweep streets, clear choked gutters, collect refuse, and improve the cleanliness of public spaces across the township.

The initiative highlighted the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining a clean environment and preventing sanitation-related diseases. Participants emphasized that environmental cleanliness is a shared duty that requires the active involvement of every member of the community.

Residents commended the collaboration between public servants and the security agencies, describing it as a positive example of leadership through service. They expressed the hope that such exercises would continue regularly to promote a healthier and more attractive Anloga Township.
