Anloga District Assembly Participates In D-Pat Platform Training Organized By VRCC.

The Anloga District Assembly has successfully participated in a comprehensive training programme on the District Performance Assessment Tool (D-PAT) Platform organized by officers from the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC).

The training forms part of a regional exercise aimed at equipping Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) across the Volta Region with the requisite knowledge and skills to effectively utilize the D-PAT Platform for performance assessment, monitoring, reporting and service delivery improvement.

As part of the exercise, the VRCC team embarked on a tour of all the District Assemblies within the region to provide hands-on training and technical support to staff. The Anloga District Assembly was not exempted from this important initiative, as management and staff actively participated in the training sessions.

Facilitators from the VRCC guided participants through the various features and functionalities of the platform, emphasizing data accuracy, timely reporting, performance tracking and compliance with assessment requirements. Participants were also given the opportunity to engage in practical exercises and seek clarifications on challenges encountered during the use of the system.

Speaking during the training, the VRCC officers underscored the importance of the D-PAT Platform in strengthening local governance, enhancing accountability and promoting efficient service delivery at the district level. They encouraged staff to apply the knowledge gained to improve the Assembly’s performance and contribute to the overall development of the district.

The Management of the Anloga District Assembly expressed appreciation to the Volta Regional Coordinating Council for the initiative and reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the effective implementation and utilization of the D-PAT Platform.

The training is expected to enhance the capacity of Assembly staff and improve the district’s readiness for future performance assessments.
