Anloga District Assembly staff participate in Local Government Service Smart Workplace training.

Staff of the Anloga District Assembly participated in a Smart Workplace Training organized by the Local Government Service (LGS) on Thursday, November 6th, and Friday, November 7th, 2025, as part of efforts to promote digital transformation and improve efficiency in public service delivery.

The training brought together staff from various departments of the Assembly to build their capacity in the use of digital tools, modern workplace practices and innovative technologies that support effective service delivery. Participants were taken through practical sessions on digital collaboration, electronic document management, and the efficient use of information and communication technology (ICT) in the workplace.

Facilitators emphasized that the Smart Workplace initiative forms part of the Local Government Service’s broader agenda to modernize local governance by equipping public servants with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in an increasingly digital work environment. They encouraged participants to embrace technology, improve teamwork and adopt best practices that enhance productivity and accountability.

Speaking after the training, participants expressed appreciation to the Local Government Service for the opportunity, describing the programme as timely and relevant. They noted that the knowledge gained would help improve daily operations, strengthen communication and contribute to the delivery of faster and more efficient services to the people of the Anloga District.
