About the Assembly
The Anloga District, with Anloga as the Administrative Capital is one of the 18 Administrative Districts in the Volta Region. It was carved out of Keta Municipality. The Anloga District Assembly was established by a Legislative Instrument LI 2372 of 2018 and was inaugurated on the 19th of February, 2019.
The District lies within Longitude 0.30E and 1.05W and Latitude 5.45N and 6.005S. It is located east of the Volta estuary, about 160km to the east of Accra, off the Accra-Aflao main road. It shares a common border with Keta Municipality to the East, South Tongu District to the West, Akatsi South District to the North and the Gulf of Guinea to the South.
Vision
The vision of the Anloga District is to “improve socio-economic conditions of its citizens on sustainable basis for peaceful coexistence and development in a democratic environment”
Mission
The Anloga District exists to improve the quality of life of its people through the provision of facilities and services in collaboration with communities and other stakeholders towards poverty reduction.
(Core Values) The Anloga District Assembly like any other has its own core values that guide the development of the District and is the pillar on which the people within the District shape their development around. Some of these values are in line with the values of the Local Government Service which is a mother body of the Assemblies. Some of these are: Accountability, Client-oriented, Creativity, Diligence, Discipline, Equity, Integrity, Innovativeness, Loyalty, Commitment, Anonymity, Impartiality, Permanence, People Centered, Inclusiveness, Eradication of poverty, Trust, Timeliness and Transparency.
