The profitability of any business positively influences its development and adoption. Most Ghanaian farmers fall short when it comes to having a fair idea of what to expect at the end of the cropping season as far as yield is concerned; most of them do not keep records.
Having a fair idea of one’s outcome even before marketing, goes a long way to encourage the farmer or entrepreneur to continue with his/her business.
On the 23rd of September, 2021 farmers in the Anloga District were thus taken through training in the estimation of yield, prior to marketing.
A total of 39 farmers, consisting of 20 men and 19 women participated.
