As part of the core functions of the utilisation of the DACF for PWDs, the disability fund management committee vet and assessed the potential beneficiaries before approving the recieved application.
In the month of December 2021, 48 PWDs were supported with capital and equipment to boost their income generation activities. These PWDs hailed from the following towns in the district; Tegbi, Woe, Anloga, Whuti, Dzita, Atiteti, Alakole, and Shime areas.
Led by the Hon. Seth Yormewu (DCE), and supported by Torgbi Hatsu IV (Director, NCCE) and Mr. Sylvester Kojo Deku (DSWO), the items and cheques were presented to the beneficiaries.
Also present at the event was the Programs Manager of Radio Jubilee, the DFMC Committee members and care givers of some of the beneficiaries.
