On 29th March 2021, the District Chief Executive Hon. Seth Yormewu and some government officials at the ANLOGA District Assembly received their first COVID-19 jab, which is aimed at having a strong health workforce and curbing the spread of the disease in the DISTRICT.
The DCE was the first to take his vaccine as a way of boosting confidence, which was followed by other members of staff of the Assembly.
The District Health Director Ms. Perfect Titiati indicated that the vaccine has come to boost the system of individuals.
She said the after effects of the jab may include fever, redness of the spot where the injection has been given, diarrhea and weakness, which may be peculiar to the individual and may last for a week.
She added that if the symptoms last for more than one week, the individuals should report at the Health Centre for treatment.
She, however, urged all to continue observing the COVID-19 protocols in order to reduce the spread of the COVID-19.
